NAADVIDYA — Student Charter
Your Privileges, Obligations & What to Expect
Version 1.0
PART A — WHAT NAADVIDYA OFFERS STUDENTS
A1. Access to curated teachers
- Every teacher on Naadvidya has been personally reviewed and approved by the Naadvidya Gurus
- You are not choosing from an open marketplace — you are choosing from a vetted faculty
- Teacher profiles include qualifications, specialisations, ragas taught, teaching language, and session fee
- Intro videos (where available) let you hear and see the teacher before booking
A2. Three learning formats (Phase 1 and beyond)
Mehfil Session (available now) On-demand sessions with any approved teacher. You book, they confirm, you learn. No long-term commitment. Perfect for testing a new teacher or supplementing existing learning.
Riyaaz Workshop (Phase 1.5) Fixed-duration, topic-focused workshops: "Yaman in 8 sessions", "Thumri Aesthetics", etc. You know exactly what you're getting and when it ends. Ideal for targeted skill-building.
Gurukul Path (Phase 1.5) Full progressive curriculum — from where you are now to where you want to be. Weekly sessions, structured assignments, monthly progress reviews, and a teacher who knows your journey deeply.
A3. Homework and feedback loop
- After every session, your teacher may post an assignment
- You submit your practice via voice recordings and written notes — directly on the platform
- Your teacher reviews and responds with text or voice feedback before the next session
- This async loop is the core of Naadvidya's learning model — use it fully
A4. Your own session room
- Every session has a private video room generated specifically for you and your teacher
- No third-party apps, no Zoom downloads, no "share this link" — everything is inside Naadvidya
- Your room is available 15 minutes before your session start time
A5. Session credit packs
You buy sessions in advance using credit packs:
| Pack | Sessions | Price | Per session |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ek Swar | 2 | ₹1,699 | ₹850 |
| Char Prahar | 4 | ₹3,299 | ₹825 |

PART C — STUDENT PRIVILEGES
C1. Trial before commitment
- If you are uncertain about a teacher, book a single Mehfil Session before enrolling in a long programme
- You are never required to commit to a full curriculum without experiencing the teacher first
C2. Switching teachers
- You may switch teachers at any time for Mehfil Sessions — simply book a different teacher
- For Gurukul Path, a formal switch request may be submitted. The Naadvidya Gurus review and approve within 48 hours
- If the switch is due to documented conduct issues with the teacher, full credit balance is protected
C3. Pausing a programme
- Gurukul Path students may pause their enrolment once per term for up to 4 weeks
- A pause request requires 5-day advance notice
- Credits reserved for paused weeks are returned to your wallet
C4. Raising concerns
- You may raise a concern about any session within 48 hours of the session date
- Concerns are handled by the Naadvidya Gurus personally in Phase 1
- For sensitive matters (conduct, harassment), email directly: amee@naadvidya.in — marked confidential
